Conventions 2014: Join Our Crew
Next week, Lar, Moss, Will and I will be heading for Seattle, for Emerald City Comicon; our first show of the year.
With that in mind, I wanted to share with you folks something new we’re going to try out-
At each of the dozen or so shows we attend this year, we will be hiring one reader/fan to spend the weekend with us, and work as one of the Blind Ferret Crew. You’ll man the booth, sell merchandise, run around the show and city when need be, and generally do what’s needed.
This weekend employee will be compensated. With the moneys.
The hours we’ll need you will be from 1 hour before the show opens, to 1 hour after it closes. It’s long, it’s exhausting-
But it’s also fun as all hell.
So who can apply?
- You must be over 18.
- You must pretend to find me amusing.
- That is all.
What do I get exactly?
- Weekend Pass for the Convention
- Hourly Wage
- All expenses covered
