EXT. THE RIDD OCEAN – THE FATHER’S BONES –  DAY

Sailors are at work aboard Captain Tah’Vraay’s ship as they sail The Ridd Ocean. By the way, the ocean between Legarion and Kethenecia is called The Ridd Ocean. I had to check my notes, and I wrote those in 2015!

Benny, who has cast some kind of waterproof spell on her pants, and Captain Tah’Vraay, talk to each other about something besides a man. 

Cale doesn’t like it. 

CALE
Shouldn’t they be arguing? 

RICHARD
About?

CALE
What?

Richard considers what he said and where he lost Cale. 

CALE
It doesn’t matter what they’re arguing about, they should be fighting for dominance. 

RICHARD
Maybe they’re not arguing because it’s Captain Tah’Vraay’s ship. So Benny knows she is in charge. 

CALE
It’s not about rank it’s about gender. 

RICHARD
And yet it seems to rank. 

CALE

RICHARD
Unsubscribe.

Richard wanders away from a baffled Cale. 

CALE
Did the redeemer just dunk on me? 

KRUNCH
Every dog has his day, elf. Treat it as a peak into another world where Richard has a higher status than you. 

Cale looks down at Krunch, the minitaur, anchored to the deck by the split ends of a rigging rope. 

CALE
Unsubscribe. 

Cale starts to walk away. 

KRUNCH
Your calling back to his dunking on you just validates the sickness of his dunk!

Cale continues to walk away, for Krunch dropped an explosive burn, and cool guys don’t look at explosions.
