Still something wrong. The wife said on page 1446 ‘Our children were taken’ before being corrected by the husband, ‘Our child’ and her then agreeing ‘Of course. Our child was taken’. If the husband discounted the girl child, there is a boy gone as well. Pretty odd for a misogynist society to produce ONLY girl children.
