Warehouse Temporarily Closed

Why start the new year with fireworks when you can start with a fire*? Or fires*?

*these fires are a metaphor for having to deal with something in a hurry. There were no actual fires.

The Big Fire

We need to move the warehouse.

You may have heard whispers that Blind Ferret recently moved offices. That’s, like, 90% true. The warehouse -including stock and staff- didn’t move with the rest of us. Which was fine, we thought, we had an arrangement. Though. Had.

Long story short, we need to move warehouses ASAP. That means that the Blind Ferret shop is closed for the foreseeable future. Worse, it means orders we haven’t fulfilled yet will be delayed until the warehouse move is complete.

This is a huge pain in the ass for us and you, there’s no other way to say it. We just had a major push to move stock, motivated by an eventual move, and now we have to move a lot of stock that we sold, just to unpack it and ship it in the near future. I will post updates as I get them.

The Small Fires

Today’s blog was supposed to be a Top Comments based on the comics from the end of last year. Weirdly, comments won’t load for a few of the pages. Probably an easy fix for IT, but our IT manager took this week off isn’t of the holidays, and the back-up IT is dealing with an unrelated and more important fire.

So, 2020 blogs start on a weird note. Plus side, there’s nowhere to go from here but up!
